Best Show On TV
September 28, 2009
Found this show on itunes, then got coaught up on Seasons 1-3 on hulu.com. I love the family dynamics of the show. It depicts parents who are in control of their children for the most part (kids still find a way to get around the strictest of parents), and it doesn't attempt to depict this family as overly righteous or infallible. They are humans subject to the kinds of mistakes parents and children alike make just because we don't always have all the answers. The fact that the family hails from a middle class background is also refreshing. I like the social issues that are addressed on the show, and when I'm not in agreement with a particular resolution as being far-fetched, I chalk it up to entertainment. Like others have said, this is a family show that can be watched by everyone.

Is not where you live, It's how you live

This show is one of the last morals that should be implemented into our inter cities everywhere. It reflects how an individual can make a difference in bring people back to what counts, and that's to believe in one self. Just because you live in area where hope has lost it's way, does not mean the people don't care. All it takes is an individual who is willing to show others that there is always, hope you just have to take a stand.
Great show I am looking forward to many more episodes.
Thanks ABC

This show is interesting. I'll give it that. A father who isn't stupid, a loyal wife, teenagers with actual moral compasses....very promising. The acting is a tad bit wooden, but it gets better later on in the show. I think this could turn out to be one of ABC's better serieses.
