This is better than Sex in the City...
August 8, 2008
i actually hated Sex in the City, but this show is fantastic. Brooke Shields looks great, and I loved Lindsay Price on 90210 and she's even better on this show. I cant wait for the new season to start.

What I have been waiting for since Sex and the City! This show is great and the cast is so compatible and likable. Love the sassiness of the girls. Fierce yet compassionate. I am not condoning cheating, but I love Nico and Kirby together. They are HOT! Can't wait for season 2.

I am really liking this show

How can you even talk about canceling a show that barely showed itself to the viewers? I am getting involved in the lives of these ladies and enjoying their struggles and successes. Their lives are diverse and interesting. I think the sexuality is fine and doesn't cross the lines, but is appropriate enough for the time slot and for those of us that don't have HBO, it's a chance to get at least that much sexuality plus comedy, reality, and far-from-reality. I like this one. Please keep it on!!

SexNcity - worst kept, best dropped
March 1, 2008
Sex in the City worked partly because it's on HBO, so able to go to shocking lengths in what it shows sexually. That and the formerly unique peek into the lives of wealthy single women in NYC, was what made SNTC a hit.
Lipstick Jungle picks up the worst from that show (the desire to create an alternate reality NYC in which the only black people are transvestite men, when NYC is actually 25% black and there is a lot of mixing among the races at all social levels) and dumps the elements that made SNTC something worth watching despite its flaws.
Cashmere Mafia does a better job with the theme, and it's been cancelled. This show deserves the same fate.
