    Life without LOST ...

    May 22, 2008
One more episode and its life without LOST. I have missed only one episode since the series began ..amazing considering my busy life. The program is certainly addictive and for me its the "mystical aspect" of LOST that keeps me hooked (My all-time favorite series was the X-Files). From Locke's regaining the ability to walk, to Sawyer's (My favorite character) transforming from con-man-murderer to someone who genuinely has a soul (Sawyer threatening to kill Locke if Hurley is harmed? Who would have thought it?), to Sun (Wait, come to think of it, SHE is my favorite character ..or maybe I simply in love with her!) finding the inner strength to face all of her demons, the island transforms people and I like that theme. Except for a couple of seasons ago when the writers went astray and the "off and on" TV scheduling disgusted regular viewerers, the series has been simply amazing: great overall plot and subplots, fascinating characters, and the many twists and cliff hanger endings makes LOST the best television series in many years. My least favorite parts of LOST? Nothing major actually, though I do tire of all of the attention put on Jack and Kate when I find other characters more compelling. I am also tired - generally - with not only LOST, but so many other television series - feeling like they need to kill off popular characters for .. what purpose? I still have not gotten over the loss of Charlie and I fear that the always unfortunate Desmond - another of my favorites - will be gone by the end of this season and never again see his beloved Penny.

One more week, and once again it will be life without LOST.

    Questions about Lost

    March 25, 2007
Disclaimer: I didn't have time to read all the 200 reviews so what I say may have been previously stated.

1.) Michael and his son left on a boat yet Ben says the only way off the island is by submarine. -- In one of the episodes doesn't he capture a new boat when Sun shoots one the the "others"? What is Ben planning on doing with it?

2.) In one of the first episodes Rossou claimes that her entire team was wiped out by an unknown enemy and that her baby was stolen. Why would you bring a child on a science experiment to remote island and also, why havent we seen any flashbacks for Rossou yet?

3.) Based on the last couple episodes I think it's safe to say that the others themselves don't know all the mysteries of the island, but do they know or control the mysterious black smoke that kills people such as Eko?

Just a few questions that if you have any insight on I would definetly be interested in hearing about. Thanks.

FANTASTIC Season Finale!! One of LOST's B

    May 24, 2007
    FANTASTIC Season Finale by LOST!!!

Had me guessing and cringing all the way through, soooo well written!!! (as are all their episodes)
Really sad seeing Charlie go (although why didn't he just jump OUT of the control room and THEN slam the door shut?).

They're so good at creating so many new questions (are the last 3 seasons going to be how they deal with this possible new threat of the the "real bad guys"according to Ben?) while at least answering old questions (and some REALLY old ones:)

How about seeing WALT (hit a little 'growth' spurt)??

I gotta admit that I was disappointed seeing a flash 'forward' and that you see Jack and Kate off the island...like if the survivors on Gilligan's Island ever got rescued, what else is left of the show? I know, I know...its silly to think that of THIS show...the masters of showing you all the mysterious details you'd never imagine.
Who says the other survivors were rescued? and what's the amount of time that passed between that possible 'rescue' call and Jack's flash forward.

Look up "Hanso Exposed" on YouTube, check it out...(they don't allow URL's on here).

Tells you everything about the Others.
Announced at Comic-Con last year with the LOST panel.
Its NOT a fake and IS connected to the show.

Does anybody remember the black mist/fog?

    February 12, 2007
I love lost, always have and probably always will. That being said, I can forgive last seasons ender with the two guys at the north pole....I'll give them time to explain those guys, however I think that the show is banking on us all forgetting about the black mist that has plagued the islands and killed many. I for one will not forget and am anxiously awaiting to see them explain that thing.

    Somethings Bother Me

    March 16, 2007
I have been an avid fan of Lost since its first show, three years ago. But the preview teases that ABC run are often misleading. They often make promises but more times than not fudge on the promise.

The show in its truest form; is one of the best mystery/suspense productions ever on television.

    However, certain things bother me:

1 - it doesn't move as fast as I like.

2 - Frequent gaps in episodes (other shows air in its time slot)

3 - After numerous opportunities no one asks; The Others why are they there and what is the beef they have with the islanders. A logical question that makes you wonder if the writers aren't yanking viewer's chain as well as their intelligence.

4 - How the heck did Sun get back to the island, last I saw she was captured after she shot The Other on the boat ... I may have missed the episode that explains how she suddenly reappears.

5 - Sometimes I wonder if the writers aren't smirking in the background and muttering, The jokes on you!

6 - I would like to see consistent airtime and less drawn-out flashbacks, ie - Desmond's

I did think some of the flashbacks were pertinent.

Oh and has anyone ever times how much program is filled in an hour compared to commercial time? Check it out ...
