Episode Description

After taking a gun, knocking Locke out and locking him up with Jack in the bunker, Michael heads into the jungle to rescue Walt. Locke, Jack and Sawyer attempt to go after him as Jack rebuffs Kate's attempt to join. Jack flashes back on an old patient who would need a miracle to save which is why he sought out Jack's skills. After a near fling with the patients daughter Jack returns to his neglected wife and wants to make things right with her. She reveals she has been having an affair and leaves him instead. As Jack and company follow Michael's trail, gunshots are heard and they are confronted by "The Others," led by the same man that took Walt, who warns them away. After a standoff of sorts, the Other reveals he holds Kate captive, who followed on her own accord, forcing them to give up their weapons and turn back. Back at the camp, Charlie and Hurley commiserate about their respective girl troubles: Hurley is attracted to Libby and thinks he has a shot, while Charlie pines over his break with Claire. Sun is angered by Jin's desire to go after Michael but they come to an understanding.
