Mensas pick - motivation
February 22, 2008
Mad about you is a similar to a 70's sitcom where women rule the world. I find mad about you extraordinarily sexist. I understand women have not been portrayed properly in the history of television but this show goes over board in going the other way. Paul Rizer is constantly emasculated, humiliated and played as a sniveling weak human being. I believe in equality. This show is disgraceful.

"Thirty-Something" Without the Whining!
June 8, 2009
This show made me look at life and laugh - and cry sometimes. Unlike 30-Something, it was so not-whiney! Just don't quite get why Paulie never got an Emmy, too! THIS IS WHAT I'M SAYING!

Missing this show ;(
It was the best comedy show ever, I used to love the character of Helen Hunt. The theme song was & still my favorite one, the Final Frontier ;(

One of my all time favorites!

It is not easy to be this smart and this funny. Few series can even manage one of them. Well defined characters and realistic relationships made this series very thoughtful. Good writing and good acting. Could be goofy without being stupid.

One of the best shows of all time
February 22, 2008
And by far the best sitcom. Even though some episodes were silly, in general the storylines remained true to the characters and showed the issues honestly, such as infidelity, the trials of parenthood, etc. On many occasions I've seen myself and my wife in the show. Not to mention the AMAZING list of guest appearances and supporting cast: Mel Brooks, Carol Burnett, Lily Taylor, Hank Azaria, Eric Stoltz, Jeannene Garofalo, Jerry Lewis, Sid Ceasar, Nathan Lane ... I could go on for a long time. The show is missed
