This is a good show. Lighten up. Gryls was a SAS, you cant think its all fake. He does what he gets payed to do. He could probably survive in the wild all alone. He's definitely got the skills.

watching this guy!!!! I am so transfixed on Bear...you learn
so much...his show is very educational...entertaining...
my whole family just loves it..loves it ....loves it

I can't wait for each new episode. Bear shows us how to survive in the desert, the mountains, the Alps, the rain forest, and stranded on a desert island. He's a no nonsense kind of guy. I have actually picked up a couple of tricks for when I go camping. THANK YOU BEAR GRYLLS...look forward to your (our) next adventure!

I love reading the reviews of critics of this show - as if the entire show is filmed on a sound stage. They just call Bear to the set and do a little computer generated parachute jump into a carefully crafted scenario...
If the show was shot covering just one day, I'd still watch. And it's true he has experts that assist him with information - you'd have to be pretty daft to jump into a location with a knife, cup and no clue about where you were going or what dangers you'd face.
It must be tough coming up with anything original in today's TV game - Man vs. Wild is just that and certainly worth watching!

this show is really cool, all the survival stuff, his great attitude, and well bear grylls is so hot!! woohoo!! he does a fantasic job and kudos to him!!! however it makes me sad when he kills a cute fuzzy creature, but i get over it cause its nothing compared to the tortured meat we eat anyway
