Married With Children
October 22, 2009
Peggy and Al of course are my favorites! Peggy has a difficult role actually. Her hair and makeup are always perfect and she walks so funny! Al could not be more funny and wild! I liked the show when it first aired but now not so much.

This was (and still is) a hilarious show!
October 21, 2009
I loved that, although it was somewhat exaggerated, most people feel like that about their families from time to time. The things that many people have wanted to say, the Bundys said. I think Ed O'Neill was born to play Al Bundy. His character was probably in the top 3 of the funniest characters I have ever seen on television. And his deadpan portrayal of Al was priceless. I don't think any other actor could have played him as brilliantly as Ed did. And Peg Bundy was truly the mother most mothers have felt like being at times. Katie Sagal was absolutely hysterical playing the character. Christina Applegate, David Faustino, Amanda Bearse and the two actors that played her husband more than adequately played their roles to the tee. This was probably one of the funniest casts in the history of television. I loved it then and still watch it at least 3 times a week in reruns.

my absolute FAV program (Peg is my hero, lol)
September 8, 2009
Watch this and you'll feel a whole lot better about your OWN family. Even with (my) being very conservative (I wouldn't let my kids watch Roseanne when they were younger & lived at home!!) ----- Married w/children is so far off the 'deep' end that it WAS truly funny. Kids and I still 'quote' Bundy-isms!! And at Christmas I share Al's "Twas the Night before Christmas" poem as only he could have recited it! Especially THESE days, a good laugh is hard to come by and MWC fills the bill for that!

My All-Time Favorite Show
September 6, 2009
I just love this show. I grew up watching it, and now I'm getting the DVDs as they come out.
I remember how much my friends and I used to talk about it in school, and we even still think back and laugh about it now as adults.
If I had to pick my top 10 favorite episodes they would be...
Build a Better Mousetrap: Featuring a mouse running loose in the Bundy house, and Al's hillarious attempts to exterminate it.
Eatin' Out: When a relative passes away and leaves the Bundys a check, Al decides to take them to a fancy restaurant.
Hot off the Grill: The Bundys invite Steve and Marcy over for a Labor Day backyard barbecue, which is a big event for Al.
Who'll Stop the Rain: When there's a hole in the roof, die hard do it yourself man Al decides to fix it himself.
Wabbit Season: Under doctor's orders to relax, Al starts up his own vegetable garden. Which is invaded by a carrot stealing rabbit.
Oldies but Young'Uns: Al hears a tune on the radio but doesn't catch the name, and goes to great lenghts to find the answer.
Rites of Passage: Bud turns 18 and shares in a male bonding Bundy tradition with Al.
Wedding Show: On the day of a wedding, Bud mistakenly has an affair with his cousin's bride to be.
Hi I.Q.: Kelly gets an invitation to a high intelligence club, which Bud investiages. Meanwhile Al and Jefferson assemble the Handyman's Workbench 5000
Get the Dodge outta Hell: Al takes the Dodge to a car wash and it somehow gets lost.
Hope you enjoy the list. Happy viewing.
