I feel that the contestants get more exposure on television when they are shown on the Miss America: Countdown to the Crown show. There are so many successful reality shows now on television. So many people are into reality shows too. This has helped the Miss America Pageant's ratings by making it a beauty pageant/reality show.

Bring the old version of Miss America back. It seemed classier to win that title before, now it is just as cheesecake as any other "Miss Anything" contest. Also, too much Mario, he seems to be the "host of choice" lately. Also, boring as we see way too much of him. Bring the elegance and class back to the pageant, and perhaps, we can actually be in awe of the winner and happier for her. Right now she is as "run of the mill" as the pageant is.

I grew up 5 minutes from U of I and played football in Key Stadium. My sister graduated from the U of I. I was delighted a beautiful girl from Seymour IN won the coveted crown. Congrats Miss Indiana!
