Mexico is not a good host...history repeats itself
May 28, 2007
Back in 1993 when Mexico hosted the pageant, audience booed the poor Miss USA, Chelsi Smith who happens to be black. Their representative did not make the cut that year. This year, audience booed Miss USA again during national costume presentation show. Mexico is the only country that this happened to Miss Universe. No class!

Mexico should never be the site for Miss Universe
May 29, 2007
It was shamefull the way Mexicans were allowed to boo Miss USA. (Yankee go home but leave your money here, Ja!) I do believe in free speach, outside the Theater, but to do this so that the world would hear, shameless!!! Audience need to be educated to differ from beauty contest and political issues, and Mexicans prove this to be true last night. I pesonally was disgusted and I know many of us were. (They want to come to USA, work here, become citizens and they BOO Miss USA, Yeah Right!!!)

Truly disappointed in Mexico
May 29, 2007
Though The Miss Universe pageant is a much revered competition of poise and elegance, I fear that the venue completely ruined the wonderful evening.
The beautiful women are talented and extremely confident to walk around in nothing and yet be able to look fantastic. It was truly sickening to hear any woman on that stage be booed by a stupid audience.
I believe The Pageant should conduct a more in depth search when deciding on a location. The fans, the shameful treatment of these strong women is disgusting.
Donald Trump should never allow his organization to be defamed in such a manner, surely he would not tolerate someone booing him during a hotel opening or press conference. These women came here to compete and should not have to worry about leud guests.
It makes me sick

Completely Unprofessional!

The Miss Universe Pagent has been made intoa mockery of sorts. The questions are completely ridiculous and make absolutely no sense. The pagent itself should be held more to a higher standard with quality judges who are trained or at least have experience in that type of field. Has been actors or athletes, I mean come on. What is Donald Trump thinking. One judge started his question with "hey Baby", ....who does he think he is and where is the respect for the contestant. I can only hope that Donald Trump will take a more serious look at what winning or competeing in a pagent of this nature really means to these young women. They work extremely hard and dedicate themselves for years to answer questions like" would you rather have a man that was passionate or safe"...what the heck kind of question is that.
What a joke this was.........
