Excellent Show - GOOD TV
January 28, 2007shows like this is what makes good TV enterteinment & Tony Shalhoub is the best man for the job. The show always starts with a dead guy, like any other detective show, then the investigation and finaly the crime gets solved... this is the FORMULA for these siries...WHAT happens in between is what make MONK! See, Monk has OCD and often finds himself in situations that you would not expect. The show goes from serious and intense to EXTREMELY funny in a matter of seconds. Mr. Shalhoub plays the character so well that you can't help thinking that this person real. Natalie and Sharona...
February 16, 2007while I loved Sharona, even better than Natalie for awhile, Traylor Howard grew on me and changed my mind. I thought Sharona leaving was a possible disaster for the show. Instead it turned out to be an improvement. Natalie is a perfect fit opposite Monk. She also interacts a bit better with the Captain and Randy as well.Was this review helpful to you? WOW, it's the best murder mystery in years
December 14, 2006I can rank this right up there with Murder She Wrote and Matlock. Congratulations to USA Network for a fanstastic show. CBS and NBC would be wise to follow. Monk is one of the most colorful and unusual characters i've seen in years, it's very refreshing. Again Thank You USA Network. Keep up the good work!!!!Was this review helpful to you? Who Knew??
December 24, 2006Who knew that OCD could be so funny without belittling people who have the disorder. The scripts are well written with the witty interaction of the cast. The cast is top notch. Tony has done some good stuff in the past (Wings and The guy who get his head blown off in the Will Smith's Movie Men in Black.) but this is his best work so far. The Cast has a real chemistry. Me and my family are monk fanatics
September 22, 2007I love this show because it is really funny. I crack up when I watch it. My whole family does too. Every night we watch an episode. We have bought all the seasons. We think it is hysterical. Now that we've watched all the seasons we don't know what to do with ourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
