Serialized law drama which follows a single murder case from start to finish for the entire season. Each episode also includes a separate legal story with a beginning, middle and end. During the 1995-96 season, the series follows the case of Richard Cross, a wealthy Los Angeles philanthropist, who is the prime suspect in the scandalous murder of his mistress' 15-year-old sister.
