Best Ever!

This show was the diagram of my teen years! I was so in love with Jordan Catalano, I had a friend like Raeanne, I went to prom with my gay friend and I dyed my hair bright red! I miss you Angela!

Thank you!Now ABC has posted my fav show online today I watched the pilot and second episode...I could so relate to Angela Chase in an odd way where I was mixed up with different friends...at school at home...and the two could never come together and exist...I love this show such depth...

So bad it's kinda good
November 21, 2007
When I was freshman in college, I was forced to watch My So Called Life by my slightly sadistic roommate (She also re-introduced me to the hidden beauty of Good Times ). After a couple of weeks of the friday night marathons, I had to admit that the show was extremely funny. It's so bad that it's actually entertaining... We had so much fun trashing it, I'm kind of amazed that some people watched that show because they actually liked it.

This show was so much fun to watch. At the time it always seemed to relate to my small world in high school. I didnt realized that it was on for such a short time.

13 years later and nothing has changed
February 1, 2007
I was a really little kid when this show was originally on. And still I was a big fan. I thought the stories were strong, the characters were as real as they could be, and the issues were real. I wish there were shows like this now. But instead of substance, teen angst dramas are about poor little rich people with problems. Nothing about homosexuality, drugs, overdosing, surviving, dealing with life, and individuality. And if it is it is more like a very special episode of ____. Though now in 2007 the clothes seem out of date and almost costume like (see Rickie's outfits), the basic idea and the relatibility is still there 13 years later. The only thing I didn't like about the show was that it didnt last to my teenage years. And that there are no shows like this.
As a side note I want to say that when i first saw this show I didnt know what being gay meant and that might be why I thought Rickie was the cutest guy ever. And I want to thank My So Called Life for showing me being different is better than following a trend.
