'Real Housewife' Teresa Giudice: A Recipe for Disaster

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" had its Season 4 premiere last night -- with Teresa Giudice stirring up controversy.

The cast member seems to know just how to cook up a recipe for making enemies. She managed to offend her co-stars with mean-girl comments in her cookbook "Fabulicious!" in Season 3, and the women are still steamed in this season's first episode.

In her second cookbook, Teresa questioned Caroline's method for making meatballs, calling her "one-sixteenth Italian" and accused sister-in-law Melissa Gorga of copying her taste in shoes and porch chairs. To top it off, she criticized Caroline's son's idea for a stripper car wash. Dra-ma.

Searches on the reality star bubbled up on Yahoo! after the show aired. And comments on the Web didn't hold back. One wrote, “Teresa has become a terrible person who is in denial and things will only spiral out of control.” Another added, "I've never been a fan of Teresa nor her husband. She is disingenuous and has delusions of grandeur."

For her part, Giudice says her comments about Caroline were "a joke," but Caroline tells her ex-friend, "I don't want to talk about it. I'm glad I could help you sell cookbooks -- what do you want me to say? A little thing called loyalty is clearly lacking." A third viewer wrote: "I don't think I can stomach watching a season of this after last night."

That’s just the first episode. Wonder what the housewives will cook up for the next one.
