Amanda Peet has landed a recurring role on The Good Wife, TVLine reports.
Peet will play a military lawyer who enlists Lockhart & Gardner's aid in the fourth season of the CBS drama. Alicia will represent the Bent actress in her case against a contract worker for attempted sexual assault.

For those still hoping for a full-on BFF reunion between Alicia and Kalinda, Peet's character might pose an obstacle. Her character's relationship with Alicia will go beyond the professional, with the pair become confidants and close friends.
Peet will be joining other Season 4 guest stars Maura Tierney, Nathan Lane, Kristen Chenoweth and Marc Warren.
The Good Wife returns Sunday, Sept. 30 on CBS.
