Each week "American Horror Story" delivers an amazingly creepy show. It was just picked up for a second season with the FX network. Viewers tune in each week to find out what will happen with the Harmons and which house guests will return to wreak havoc. Episode 5 kept with the "Halloween night" theme. There were some odd things revealed and situation changes on the show. Here is what fans learned.
Tate did some awful things
We haven't really learned much about the character of Tate. In Episode 5 it was revealed that Constance is his mother. There was never any connection between them until this point. When she was telling Violet about Addy's death, she asked her not to tell Tate. We also got a glimpse into the fact that about 18 years ago, Tate shot up a school. We saw him dressed in a skeleton mask, carrying a gun. While on the beach with Violet, the victims confronted him. Violet had no clue who they were or why they didn't like Tate. It seems that his memory is gone and he truly has no idea what he did. He is without any marks on his body that we can see, so what happened to him?
The "dead" characters were revealed
For fans that were not sure, the dead characters all returned to the house around daylight: the two former owners, the nurse and the student, the twin boys, and the maid, Moira. We see Nora Montgomery appear at the house, but never her husband, Dr. Montgomery. Of course there still are no real answers as to why these souls are trapped there, but speculation is they have unfinished business. Moira is indebted to Constance for sleeping with her husband, the gay couple is trapped because of their relationship drama, and Nora is yearning for the baby she lost.
Ben moved out
After Hayden's revelation of her pregnancy and Ben going to Boston to see her, Vivien had enough. The security guy took Hayden away with him, but when he got to the police station, she was gone. Ben packed his suitcase and walked out the door. The house seems doomed for relationships, but with the baby coming, Ben won't be far. Chances are he will be back, and so will Hayden.
The creepy factor ranks high for this show. With all the questions and possibilities, fans can't seem to stop talking about it. It will be interesting to see how Tate's story line plays out, and what will happen to the baby Vivien is carrying.
