American Idol Alum Mandisa Flaunts 120-Pound Weight Loss

American Idol alum Mandisa has lost 120 pounds — and it's all thanks to Simon Cowell.

Mandisa, who competed on the fifth season of Idol, made an appearance on Good Morning America Monday where she flaunted her slimmer figure. The 35-year-old Grammy-nominated artist reveals that it was because of Cowell's polarizing comment after her 2006 audition that got her to lose the weight.

"Do we have a bigger stage this year?" Cowell remarked after Mandisa's audition that got her through to Hollywood.

"I forgave him for what he said to me," she says. "I've been forgiven for so much, I can extend that same grace to him. But then I would follow it up and say, 'How you like me now?'"

What do you think of Mandisa's new look?
