'American Idol's' Queen Night Song Choices Revealed

The American Idol top six will tap into their inner Adam Lambert tonight with two songs each -- one from the songbook of Queen and the other a tune of their choice.

Musical Director Ray Chew revealed the hand written set list this afternoon, including the song eliminated finalist Colton Dixon intended to perform -- the dramatic anthem, "The Show Must Go On" -- as well as a mystery number, coyly written as "The ___=___ ____Band." Our guess? "The Space Between" by the Dave Matthews Band, performed by Phillip Phillips (we can only hope!).

Roger Taylor and Brian May of Queen will also perform in a group number with the contestants.  The last time American Idol featured Queen songs was season five, when Taylor Hicks got goofy with  "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," Kellie Pickler sang "Bohemian Rhapsody," Bucky Covington loved those "Fat Bottomed Girls," Chris Daughtry played with "Innuendo," Elliot Yamin stunned with "Somebody to Love," and Paris Bennett declared that "The Show Must Go On."

Three of those songs will be repeated with the addition of "Save Me" and "I Want It All." The question is: who is brave enough to take on "Fat Bottomed Girls" after Casey Abrams and Jack Black's season ten finale showstopper? Will we finally get a "Bohemian Rhapsody" performance as dramatic as Constantine Maroulis in Season 4?

The contestants have chosen their own songs for tonight, as well. Among the picks are Jason Aldean's "Tattoos on this Town" (paging Skylar Laine), Jimi Hendrix's "Bold As Love" (Elise Testone?), Miley Cyrus, "The Climb" (Hollie Cavanagh could handle this one), Luther Vandross, "Dance With My Father," (in the wheelhouse of Joshua Ledet for sure, but done to death on Idol), and "Ready For Love" by India Arie (we're looking at you, Jessica Sanchez).

    The List:

    "The Show Must Go On."

    "Fat Bottomed Girls"

    "Bohemian Rhapsody"

    "Save Me"

    "Crazy Little Thing Called Love"
