    Ashton Kutcher Bringing Back MTV's Punk'd

    It's no joke: MTV is bringing back Punk'd!

    The popular hidden camera practical joke series that aired from 2003-2005 will again call the network home, airing a new season in 2012 with Ashton Kutcher at the helm.

    Similar to Candid Camera, Punk'd pranked celebrities including Andy Roddick, Beyonce and Kanye West, and famously led Justin Timberlake to believe the IRS was seizing his property and other assets due to unpaid taxes.

    Since its 2003 premiere on MTV, the series has spawned international versions in countries including Norway, Iceland and India.

    While details of the 2012 revival are scarce, MTV invites fans to tune in to their annual New Year's Eve broadcast for a sneak peek of the upcoming season, executive produced by Kutcher.
