The people behind The Bachelor are taking matchmaking one step further by introducing a new dating app called At First Sight.

"[Bachelor creator] Mike Fleiss and I have always talked about creating a dating website because over the years thousands of people have come up to me asking questions," host Chris Harrison tells TVGuide.com. "Not everyone can be on The Bachelorette and Bachelor, so we wanted to do something for the masses. We've taken what we've learned from the show over the last 11 years and... the best parts of social media and have put them all together."

The new app will allow users to create and view video profiles that answer questions that have expertly crafted through years of casting The Bachelor shows. Harrison says it's more engaging than a typical dating profile.

"It all comes down to chemistry, which is not something you can find in a site profile," he says. "You have to see and hear people, period. Once you set up the profile you can reach out to people and you always have privacy settings so it's up to you which videos you make public. It's unbelievably fun and addicting."
