The hit Fox drama "Bones" has really made some great advances during its few aired episodes so far this season. Of course, the big story for the show is the pregnancy of Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel). She and her co-worker, FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz), have moved into an apartment together, have purchased a house and are renovating it, and are otherwise making the typical preparations that a couple would make before the birth of the baby. This is, of course, all while solving bones-related crimes for their jobs at the Jeffersonian.
Before the show went on its mid-season break, a truly evil bad guy, Christopher Pellant (Andrew Leeds), was introduced to the show. This evil man really gives Brennan a run for her money from a crime-solving standpoint. At one point, Pellant had her questioning if there was someone out there who actually was smarter for her. He is a genius hacker who consequently was responsible for several dismemberment murders.
On "Bones," it is not often that one of the culprits that the group hunts down comes back into the picture. There have been a few who have gotten away, but mostly the team at the Jeffersonian is great at gathering together enough evidence to keep the bad guys locked away.
However, the show has revealed that the same man who gave Brennan a run for her money earlier this season will be a recurring character on the show. Christopher Pellant will be featured in a few select episodes either later this season, next season or both.
Brennan, of course, has her own plans in the works for the next few episodes. She will be giving birth to her daughter very soon, and will need to make the transition into motherhood. Brennan will be truly challenged if Pellant comes back into the picture in the middle of what may be one of the most transformational times in her life.
You can catch the latest episodes of "Bones" on Fox on Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET.
