Barney's getting married on "How I Met Your Mother." This is too good to be true and probably will not happen this fall. There is no way Barney is going to get married. Sure Barney has grown and possible matured just a little bit on the show, but there is no way he is marriage material, not yet! Not unless it is Robin he is marrying. That is definitely the only woman that has been a permanent figure in Barney's life and the only one that anyone could see getting married on the show.
Apparently who ever is getting married it is someone that is very close to the friends. Especially since Lily was wearing a bridesmaid dress.
But it is highly unlikely Barney or Robin will tie the knot and most of all definitely not to one another. Poor Barney he is just not marrying material. He is a ladies man, and that is part of what makes the show. Most people tune in to see what craziness Barney will be up to and what woman he will be falling for the night of the show. So no, Barney nor Robin will be saying I do to one another or anyone else.
So, if the new season returns with Barney getting married and Ted's supposedly new wife being revealed, what will happen next. It is possible this marriage and the revealing of Ted's wife will take all season long to unravel. It is going to be a very interesting new season with the show.
For now all one can do is hope and speculate that the next season will be as wonderful as the last. The show is definitely going in the right direction and makes you want to tune in each week to find out what is up with the best friends. Most everyone who watched all season long cannot wait for the new season to begin. The season finale kept everyone wanting more and hoping that this would be one show that would definitely becoming back to the screen next fall. So, since there has been no talk about the show being dropped we can all look forward to a new season of "How I Met Your Mother." Don't forget to tune in this fall to CBS on Monday nights at 8pm EST. That is if there is no time change for the new season.
