Things seem to be heating up between Daphne (Katie LeClerc) and Chef Jeff (Justin Bruening) on "Switched At Birth." However, this cannot end well. She is underage, and he is her boss.

Chef Jeff
Despite the age difference, it can't be denied that Daphne and Jeff have some serious chemistry. This is a classic case of opposites attract. He's an omnivore. She's a vegetarian. He's a bit of a hothead. She tends to avoid confrontation.
Yet there's an appealing "Pride & Prejudice" element to their relationship. It's fun watching these strong personalities exchange witty repartee. And they're both learning that appearances can be deceiving. He is really pushing her out of her comfort zone and vice-versa.
Scuba
That ship pretty much sailed this week when Chef Jeff gave him the walking papers. Scuba (Manish Dayal) seemed to get a raw deal with both Jeff and Daphne. Although Daphne tried to cover for Scuba for the shrimp fiasco, we can't entirely blame him for messing up. He was distracted after learning about her relationship with Jeff. Now, poor Scuba is stuck without a job and without a girl.
It's a shame because he had her back from day one, even when Chef Jeff had relegated her to dish-washing duty.
Emmett
This relationship is a case of Daphne having bad timing. She had friend-zoned her BFF Emmett (Sean Berdy) for years, almost to the point where she took him for granted. Once she realized that she liked him, he had already moved on with Bay (Vanessa Marano). It's just as well because Daphne and Emmett have the kind of chemistry of siblings rather than romantic partners.
Wilke
Daphne's relationship with Wilke (Austin Butler) was so appealing. He brought out her fun side, while she kept him grounded. He was also super-cute and romantic. While fans loved their fun flirty banter, their relationship also had substance. He opened up to her in new ways, even telling her about his embarrassing experience with scoliosis. It's unfortunate that his father sent him away to boarding school, but who knows? They could always bring him back for a summer vacation.
