Bethenny Frankel has come a long way since her days as a housewife in "The Real Housewives of New York." In some ways, it seems that she is not even the same person. The season finale of her hit show, "Bethenny Ever After," showed just how far the reality star has come. Here are the major milestones the reality star and entrepreneur experienced this season:
SkinnyGirl Reached New Heights: While Bethenny was in "Real Housewives of New York," audiences saw her start the Skinnygirl brand. It was so new that she didn't even have a logo yet. Since then, Frankel has made a multi-million dollar deal with Jim Beam that has allowed her to expand the Skinnygirl cocktail line. Not only that, but Skinnygirl is now a lifestyle brand which includes nutritional supplements and snack bars. That is a long way from a single, delicious margarita.
The Coordinator of Chaos Left the Team: Julie, Bethenny's right hand gal and "Coordinator of Chaos," decided to leave the business and move out of state to be close to her boyfriend. In the final episode of this season, audiences got to see a more vulnerable side of Bethenny as she tried to stop crying during a photo shoot because she would miss Julie. Although Bethenny said she was happy for Julie to move on, she seemed very effected by it.
Skinnygirl Landed a Spectacular Apartment: As proof of her financial success, Bethenny landed and renovated a fantastic New York apartment. Throughout this season, fans have watched Bethenny and Jason fight for permits and to keep the different design teams on the same page -- and it was all worth it. As Bethenny said when she entered the finished apartment, "This is real. We are like adults. This is a real apartment." But it's so much more than that. The apartment features an amazing walk-in closet, a Skinnygirl bar, and a large dining room.
Bethenny Went SkinnyDipping: With her new novel, "Skinnydipping," Bethenny made her debut as a fiction author. In an interview with the New York Daily News she said, "Once I started to write, it was by far the most exhilarating, most inspiring, most exciting project that I've ever worked on… loved it."
Bethenny Grew as a Spouse: Perhaps nowhere else has Bethenny seen more growth and challenge than in her relationship with Jason. Having been married only two years, the couple has experienced plenty of growing pains. It was incredibly painful to watch the couple argue incessantly for several episodes, including an episode where they went on a beautiful vacation to Mexico. Things did seem to calm down after the vacation, and in the final episode of the season, Jason and Bethenny seemed to have come to terms with each other. Seeing them in their beautiful apartment together as a family gave viewers some hope for the couple.
Bethenny Landed Her own Talk Show: If audiences weren't floored by all the accomplishments so far, they certainly will have to be impressed with her next venture: a daytime talk show. Ellen DeGeneres is producing the sassy show that is set to premiere June 11. It promises to be exciting and full of fun. Forbes says that the show will "mostly focus on Frankel talking to women about everything from sex to weight loss to hair care."
Bethenny continues to conquer the world and entertain with her good natured and acerbic sense of humor. Who knows what the Skinnygirl diva will come up with next?
