Move over, Kim Kardashian, there's a new it girl in town!
Bethenny Frankel has had quite the journey. The natural foods chef and self-declared "Skinny Girl" is not afraid to be authentically herself on camera. Fans fell in love watching the mogul bare her soul on Bravo's "Real Housewives of New York City." Her breakup with ex-BFF Jill Zarin was heart wrenching by proxy. Then she courageously stepped out onto the ice for the televised debacle that was "Skating With The Stars."
Somewhere in between Bethenny managed to star in "Bethenny Getting Married" and "Bethenny Ever After." She married her hunk of a husband, Jason Hoppy, and gave birth to daughter, Bryn. If authenticity is the new power currency, BF is riding it all the way to the bank. Making the cover of Forbes Magazine is nothing to sneeze at.
So, what's next for the no-nonsense East Coast diva?
Bethenny has switched coasts for a brand new venture. The fitness enthusiast has an exciting talk show produced by none other than Ellen DeGeneres. If anyone is a great talker, it's Bethenny.
Frankel dropped by "Ellen" to premiere a new video clip from her pilot. The daytime show seems fun, zany and high energy - just like you know who. If there's trouble in paradise between Beth and Jase, you'd never know it from her show reel. The man behind the woman was right there in the audience cheering B on every step of the way. It looks like Bethenny has her own personal Steadman Graham.
What can viewers expect?
First of all, Bethenny promises that if you tune in on June 11th you'll know for sure whether she's getting divorced. It's a sleek marketing ploy from a woman who knows what her audience wants and how to deliver it. Viewers can also expect plenty of marriage jokes from the quick-witted host.
What else?
From the looks of the pilot, Bethenny is prepared to bring it. After all, her new home costs $4.9 million dollars. Mama has to pay the bills. Bethenny will be going all out. From demonstrating beauty treatments on camera to talking child rearing and sex at home, the "Bethenny" show is a wild ride.
It looks like another home run for both Bethenny and Ellen.
