Who is the biggest nerd on the CBS sitcom "The Big Bang Theory?" The popular comedy features four nerdy scientists: Leonard, Sheldon, Howard, and Raj. None of them will win stud of the year award, but which of the four is the biggest nerd on the show?

    Leonard

Is Leonard the biggest nerd on "The Big Bang Theory?" Leonard does look like a nerd, with big black glasses, frizzy hair and a bad wardrobe. He likes stereotypical nerdy things like comic books, science fiction and computers, but the same could be said of all the other guys as well. In his favor, Leonard acts more like a normal person than do his colleagues. He actually drives a car. He is the spokesperson for the group when dealing with new people. He even manages to date cute girls like Penny. Verdict: Leonard may be the coolest of the group. He is not the biggest nerd.

    Sheldon

Could Sheldon be the biggest nerd on the show? He certainly is the most intelligent and the least socially acute, which typically equals the biggest nerd. He cannot manage to hold a normal conversation with anyone, even those of similar intelligence. He does not drive. He does not date. In fact, he seems to have no sex drive at all. However, Sheldon successfully bosses people around, including his fellow nerdy friends. He typically prevails in arguments with faultless logic. Verdict: Sheldon is nerdy but he bosses other people around. He is too assertive to be the biggest nerd on "The Big Bang Theory."

    Raj

Raj is an astrophysicist, so he studies outer space. That is nerdy but cool at the same time. He is arguably the best-looking of the group and his exotic background may draw some women to him. His fashion sense is awkward and difficult to describe other than ugly. He cannot talk to women without consuming vast amounts of alcohol. He is timid and lets Sheldon boss him around constantly. Raj seeks the approval of others and has little self-confidence. Verdict: Raj is not the biggest nerd on the show. His job is too cool and he could score with ladies when he builds self-esteem.

    Howard

This leaves Howard. Howard does not possess a Ph.D. but he is a computer engineer which is sufficiently nerdy for most people. His hair and clothes harken to the 1970s for no apparent reason. He has never explained why he thinks this look works for him. He has a lot of knowledge but does not appear to be as smart as the others. He lives with his mother and does things like make robots for sexual purposes. He is very insecure and threatens to ruin his relationship with Bernadette. Verdict: Howard is the biggest nerd on the show. Making robots for sexual purposes will win a person a title like that.
