Available for both men and women, the "Suits" boxes include personal grooming items like GO247 shampoo and Balla Powder. The shipment of the boxes coincides with the Season 3 premiere of "Suits" later this summer. USA also plans to offer a Birchbox Man sweepstakes for "Suits" fans, who can win a year's worth of products.
Previously, Birchbox has produced a similar box for TV fans inspired by The CW's "Gossip Girl."
"TV shows are a great fit because it allows us to compile themed boxes people can relate to and characters they know," explained Katia Beauchamp, co-founder of Birchbox. "It also brings a tangible experience to TV, which typically doesn't have one."
Beauchamp wants to do more TV-inspired partnerships in the future. Here are some ideas for which TV shows should be next in line to get the Birchbox treatment.
For both men and women, "Mad Men" has become a style inspiration. This box could incorporate new offerings from brands that were founded and popular in the 1960s, including Aramis, English Leather, or Dior. Cocktail-scented soaps or lotions would also be a good choice.
Most Birchbox subscribers don't have a valet, but an indulgent box inspired by "Downton" would be the next best thing. Old-school shaving kits for the gents would be a must, while ladies could enjoy some classic English perfumes or soaps.
Every woman wants to feel like a princess, so a box inspired by the princesses of "Once Upon a Time" seems like a natural fit. And of course, there would need to be a box for the Prince Charmings of the world, as well. This box would need some sparkle and a sense of magic about it.
Nobody wants to look like a walking corpse -- unless it's Halloween. Since new episodes of "The Walking Dead" generally start in mid-October, a Birchbox inspired by this series would be a great fit for Halloween season. It could include dramatic shades of makeup, or simply some facial masques to make someone's face look more alive. A zombie makeup tutorial would also be a good inclusion.
