Bradley Whitford has landed a guest-starring gig in Shameless.
The Emmy-winning actor will appear in two episodes of Shameless' third season as Abraham, a politically active, sophisticated gay man.

Whitford rose to fame playing Josh Lyman on the acclaimed drama The West Wing. His other credits include The Cabin in the Woods, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and ER.
Season 3 of the Showtime drama will pick up nearly five months later, with Jimmy (Justin Chatwin) living with Fiona (Emmy Rossum) and the rest of the Gallaghers.
Shameless returns Sunday, Jan. 13 at 9/8c on Showtime.
