From allowing Jane to choke to ordering the death of Gale to the poisoning Brock, fans and critics have squabbled over the exact moment Walter truly broke bad and transformed into a man beyond redemption.
Now, an eight-minute video drawing from the entirety of the series (so far) captures that transformation and is already providing more fodder for fan debate on YouTube, where it was posted.
But perhaps the most arresting feature of this tribute its use of music. Because music is used so sparingly on the actual show, hearing Walter say iconic lines (“I am the danger. I am the one who knocks.”) with dramatic music behind them is quite electrifying.
