Bruce Willis & Katy Perry No Match For Miley On ‘SNL’

Bruce Willis & Katy Perry — no match for Miley Cyrus. Saturday Night Live, with Willis hosting and Perry performing as musical guest, scored a 4.3/11 in metered-market households, and a 2.2/10 in adults 18-49 in the Local People Meters. Yes, the Willis/Perry SNL ranked as the No. 1 telecast of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the demo 18-49 in the Local People Meters, outscoring all primetime programs on those networks, per usual. But When Miley was the show’s guest host and music act, one week earlier, SNL drew a 4.5 rating in the metered-market households and a 2.7 in adults 18-49 in the Local People Meters. The show with Cyrus as host/musical matched the 18-49 performance of the September 28 SNL season premiere hosted by Fey as well as the May 18 season finale with host Ben Affleck and musical guest Kanye West. In households, last night’s show was down 4% from the season opener.

National ratings, including viewer totals, for last night’s SNL are due from Nielsen on Thursday, October 17.
