‘Burn Notice’: The team turns to drugs to free Michael [Exclusive video]

When "Burn Notice" returns on Nov. 8, the team will have a seemingly impossible mission ahead. Now that Tom Card has betrayed the team and stranded them in Panama, they must figure out how to covertly make their way back home.

In this exclusive sneak peek at the fall season premiere episode, "Desperate Measures," the team works to buy back Michael's (Jeffrey Donovan) freedom from drug smugglers. As the season promo indicates, the team will be forced to hijack a plane for a trip back home to Miami. Unfortunately, Michael won't be on the flight. When a fight with a man trying to take back the plane gets out of hand, Michael is pulled out of the aircraft as it's about to lift off.

Judging by the crates of fish packed with drugs on board, the plane itself appears to have been owned or used by drug smugglers when the team hijacked it. It remains to be seen whether Michael was taken by the same people from whom the team hijacked the plane or from a competing drug cartel. Either way, they are in a seriously tough situation.

The fight ahead will be overwhelming, as the group has three major roadblocks: knowing that they can't leave Panama until Michael is safe and sound; figuring out a way to get back home to Miami; and finding a way to take down Tom Card, who believes he has killed the team and is the real reason Michael's brother was killed.
