Carrie Underwood, Steve Carell and Debra Messing Join Twitter!

    Better late than never!

"Good Girl" singer Carrie Underwood, 28, The Office alum Steve Carell, 49, and Smash star Debra Messing, 43, were the latest celebs to join Twitter this week. "I am in," Carell tweeted Thursday, while Underwood wrote, "Hello Twitter world!" Friday.

Messing amassed nearly 12,000 followers since joining the social networking site Thursday. "I thought I'd enter the 21st century, but bear with me!" the actress wrote. "I'm a newbie!"

The famous redhead -- currently dating her NBC costar Will Chase -- has already virtually connected with her former Will & Grace costars Eric McCormack and Sean Hayes. "When do I get to smooch that face in person?" Messing asked McCormack, 48. "Can't wait to hear about your play!"

Be careful!!! Anything and everything you tweet can and will be misconstrued, twisted, warped, and held against you by the world at large. Dangerous stuff that tweeting.

Why is this an article? Tweeting about celebs using Twitter to tweet? It's disappointing that these people are going with the flow too. I don't think it does anything good.

If only Twitter could use that $300,000,000.00 recently invested in them by that Saudi Prince for use towards bypassing anti-jamming technology operated by brutally oppressive regimes,so that those fighting for their lives under those regimes could better communicate. Then again, maybe oppressed people NEED the addition of these three and all other celebrities' worldly insights to give them the inspiration they need to carry on.To say nothing of Silicon Valley's avoidance of actually having to be profitable without regular cash infusions by old tech investors needing either a tax write-off,or to appear "with it",or to simply keep springtime out of Saudi Arabia.

I don't think Twitter is good, because some people have no control, they used it for fun. One time I was on the Subway Train, there was a lady that sat next to me, she took a picture of two lovers, they were holding hands and kissing, the lady that was sitting next to me took a picture of these people and twit it to her friend. When I noticed, I told her that wasn't nice of her to invaded these people privacy.
Maybe if they will use the Twitter for important matter like, if they will see a robbery, crime or accident that need to be catch or solve right away, then they can twitt someone for help and it can use for proof or evidence.
