"Blown Away" is right! Carrie Underwood definitely needed armed guards at her side at the Grammy Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Sunday (Feb. 10). Radiant and sexy in a Roberto Cavalli gown, the country singer, 29, was rocking some out-of-control bling . . . $31 million worth!
The multiple Grammy winner (and nominee) wore over $31 million in precious diamonds by designer Johnathon Arndt. Underwood's necklace alone feature 381 carats of oval, pear, marquis and round brilliant white diamonds, according to a press release from the jeweler.
Joked Underwood: ""It's worth more than me."
One fellow nominee Underwood may be avoiding during the big awards fest? Opening act Taylor Swift. A source told Us Grammy execs were told to keep the singer "from crossing paths" at the Feb. 10 show "since they hate each other!"
Says a Swift pal, "Taylor feels Carrie is always rude to her, so she steer clear of her." (A Grammy rep counters, "No requests were received from either artist.")
