Castle has tapped former Gossip Girl matriarch Caroline Lagerfelt to guest star during the show’s upcoming fifth season.

The veteran actress — whose GG alter ego, CeCe, died of cancer last winter — will play Angelica Henley, a wealthy socialite who employed the victim on one of Castle and Beckett’s cases.
On Wednesday, Lagerfelt gushed about her Castle wardrobe being “worthy of Gossip Girl” on Twitter.
Castle‘s new season premieres on Monday, Sept. 24. Lagerfelt’s episode will air in early October.
