    Chloe Sevigny Comes to 'SVU'

Chloe Sevigny returns to television for the first time since Big Love went off the air in Wednesday's episode of Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit as Christine Harpo -- a rape victim. Or, rather "a rape victim?"

If 13 seasons of watching this show has taught me anything it's that the celebrity guest star should always be treated like a liar until the final "chung chung." Especially since Chloe describes her character as "very manipulative, probably a little bored in her marriage ... and is now playing with fire."

Although Christine's husband is played by Mad Men star Rich Sommer, so there's also a good chance that he paid someone to assault her.

Chances are Chloe's emotionally manipulative performance will earn her an Emmy nomination for Best Guest Actress in a Drama -- although, for her, the experience was reward enough. "I called my agent [and said], 'I really want to do an episode of SVU' because my best friend Natasha Lyonne had done one and she just talked about how much fun it was. It seems like such a right of passage for New York actors."

And Chloe even got to have a say in what kind of character she played. "They said, 'Would you rather play a victim or a perp?'" To get Chloe's spoilery answer and see her in action, check out the videos below!

Law & Order: SVU airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. on NBC.
