Chris Brown and Rihanna Both Get Chest Tattoos

After slamming reports that he got a neck tattoo that resembled Rihanna's face, Chris Brown took to Instagram on Monday to show off some more ink that has once again put him in the headlines alongside his ex-girlfriend.

Tattoo artist John Petro posted a photo of Brown's new tat, of which the singer retweeted and later removed, with a caption that read: "About to go in on this #fighterjet #f16 #plane #tattoo on #chrisbrown." The tattoo sits on Brown's abs above his chest with the tip of the plane pointing down at his belly button.

Coincidentally, Rihanna, 24, also debuted her new chest ink on Sunday. Reportedly a tribute to her late grandmother who died earlier this summer, the S&M singer shared a pic of the tat on her Instagram with the message: "Goddess Isis — Complete woman — Model for future generations — #Grangrandolly — always in and on my heart#1love." The tattoo is located under her breasts and is an image of the goddess Isis.

Meanwhile, Brown's neck tattoo of what looks to be a battered woman had fans questioning on Monday whether the ink was a disturbing homage to his ex and their 2009 domestic dispute. The R&B singer's rep denied the claims, telling The Insider: "His tattoo is a sugar skull (associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead) and a MAC cosmetics design he saw. It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported. It is peeling right now."

Brown, 23, later added via Twitter: "I'm an artist and this is art. Dia de los Muertos."
