‘Common Law’ exclusive: Are Travis and Wes failing couples therapy? [Video]

There are only a few episodes left in Season 1 of "Common Law," and things are heating up for the dynamic duo!

In this exclusive sneak peek of tonight's episode, "Odd Couples," Travis (Michael Ealy) turns out to be right about something, as usual. Neurotic Wes (Warren Kole) offers to shoot him for bragging about it. Travis counters with a great comeback, as is customary for their ritual banter while chasing down criminals.

At least their marriage-like spat and threat of bodily harm do not lead to real bruises this time. They lose the suspect, though, who is apparently adept with explosives.

Wes will likely have to answer to the couple's therapist (Sonya Walger) for threatening to shoot Travis, even in jest. After all, pulling a gun on his partner is what led to the pair being forced into couples counseling in the first place. They will also have to answer to Capt. Sutton (Jack McGee) for losing the suspect.

The new-agey captain may even make them hold hands and visualize a successful resolution to the case before sending them to a special therapy session.

However it goes down, the duo always work things out in the end. Watch "Odd Couples" to see if they track down the scary-looking miscreant after working through their differences.

The "Common Law" episode "Odd Couples" airs Friday, July 20, at 10 PM on USA Network.
