ABC is getting into the sampling business.
The network has released the buzz-worthy pilot for Nashville, its family drama set against the country music industry starring Friday Night Lights and American Horror Story's Connie Britton as an aging singer and Heroes alum Hayden Panettiere as a rising star.

From Thelma & Louise's Callie Khouri, the series co-stars Eric Close, Powers Boothe, Sam Palladio, Clare Bowen, Jonathan Jackson, Robert Wisdom and Charles Esten.
ABC's early sampling of Nashville joins Last Resort as pilots receiving the early promotion and comes after the CW offered early streams for Emily Owens, M.D., and NBC did the same with comedies including The New Normal.
