Countdown to New One Direction Album Includes X Factor Live Performance

Five days before One Direction's new album Take Me Home is released, the British-Irish boy band will hit the stage of The X Factor to perform two new tunes, Fox announced Monday.

One Direction -- who were finalists on the U.K. version of The X Factor and were signed to Simon Cowell's record label -- will perform "Live While We're Young" and "Little Things" during the first live voter-determined results show of the season, airing Thursday at 8/7c.

The X Factor elimination shocker: Who made it to the top 12?

"Having come from the U.K X Factor, we can't wait to perform on the U.S. stage," said group member Zayn Malik. "It's going to be a great night!"

Added Niall Horan: "It's be the first time we've performed in front of 'Uncle Si' since we were on the U.K. X Factor. So, hopefully, we'll make him proud!"

Are you excited to see One Direction perform on The X Factor?
