Those that have followed "House" over it's now 6 year, 7 season lifetime know that while the FOX hit may be considered a medical drama it has enough relationships to easily be deemed a soap opera. If you haven't seen all 7 seasons it can be a bit of a challenge to follow the intricate relationship trails.

The following is a helpful summary of the many relationships of the TV show, "House."

Current Relationships as of January 2011:

    Cuddy and House aka "Huddy":

Probably the most well known couple in "House" this relationship was a long time in the making finally occurring in season 7. It features the two main characters of the show, Gregory House played by Hugh Laurie and Lisa Cuddy played by Lisa Edelstein who is the hospital administrator at the hospital House works at. In earlier seasons it is suggested the two may have had a short romance in college, but other than this sexual tension and a complicated friendship were an overall theme to the show. The term "Huddy" emerged from fans demand to see the two become an actual item.

    Wilson and Sam:

Wilson played by Robert Leonard is House's best friend and a fellow doctor at the hospital where he works. Wilson is a bit soft hearted and has had several wives. His current relationship in season 7 happens to be the first of those wives, Sam Carr played by Cynthia Watros. Sam is a radiologist at a different hospital. Wilson actually asks Sam to marry him a second time in season 7 as well but is turned down. The couple may be separated by the end of this season.

    Taub and his wife:

Dr. Chris Taub is one of House's medical team added to the show in season 4 after the show's original team disbands. He is married (his wife is most commonly simply referred to as such) but has an adulterous tendency. Since his addition to the team the series often does side stories involving this conflict. In the current season 7 he is working to resolve issues while fighting his need for a woman on the side. His wife seems to have possibly found a man online in the meantime.

    Past Significant Relationships:

    House and Stacy:

Stacy Warner was House's live-in girlfriend played by Sela Ward. Stacy left House in season 1 after she authorized a surgery on his leg that he didn't approve of and he resented her for it. On occasion Stacy was still seen in episodes of the show acting as the hospitals lawyer though she is married to a man named Mark." In season 2 House and Stacy have a short affair in which House eventually rejects her and she returns to her husband quitting her job at the hospital. Stacy is not an active character in season 7.

    Cuddy and House's Private Investigator:

Cuddy broke off a relationship with a private investigator House had hired in season 5 named Lucas Douglas played by Michael Weston. Cuddy and Lucas have a short relationship in season 6 which causes tension with House. He asks Cuddy to marry him in the season 6 finale but Cuddy leaves him for House. Outside of Lucas Cuddy has also been seen on many dates throughout the series that House often interrupts.

    13 and Foreman:

13 also known as Dr. Remy Hadley (Olivia Wilde) joined during season 4 as well when House's original medical team broke up. Dr. Eric Foreman (Omar Epps), one of the original team members from season 1 has been on and off House's team, but as of season 7 is an active member. Foreman and 13 were a couple up until season 6. 13 mysteriously disappeared in season 7 lying to the team about going to Thailand. Olivia Wilde who plays 13 needed time to work on other projects and does intend to return to the show. She is currently being replaced by Martha Masters (Amber Tamblyn) who has no known romantic interests.

    Cameron and Chase:

Allison Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) and Robert Chase (Jesse Spencer) were the other two original diagnostic team members that worked for House. In early seasons Cameron is known to have a crush on House, but ends up with Chase in season 3. They marry in season 5 and then divorce in season 6 after which she leaves the hospital and becomes an inactive member of the "House" cast. She is expected in 3-4 episodes of season 7 however. After their break-up Chase returns to his ladies' man ways and is often seen with various women in season 7.

    Wilson and Amber:

Amber Volakis (Anne Dudek) was an applicant for House's team introduced in season 4 when House is seeking a new team. Wilson later begins dating Amber until she dies in a bus accident picking up House from the bar in later in season 4. She returns to the show in season 5 as a hallucination caused by House's vicodin addiction. Her death almost ruins House and Wilson's friendships. Their relationship and her death are both often mentioned in the show.
