When Season 16 of "The Bachelor" began, there were a few girls that struck a wrong chord with the fans. Now that we are halfway through the season, there is one girl that sticks out like a sore thumb. Courtney has moved up the ranks to the most disliked girl on the show. There are many reasons for the change, and these are a few that particularly rubbed fans the wrong way.
Her attitude
Since the premiere, Courtney has been completely full of herself. She comes off with the typical model persona, which adds to the distaste fans have for her. It seems like she has dated some D-list actors her in time and appeared at a few red carpet events. She seems to believe that she is better than all of the other girls, and shows little worry about the competition. While she is a pretty girl, she is not the prettiest one in the bunch.
Her selfish ways
You can't fault a woman that goes for what she wants, especially when it is a man. Courtney is determined, but she does it in a selfish way. If she is not the center of attention during a date with Ben, she will do whatever it takes to get it there. The fly fishing date was a prime example. Courtney worked her way into Ben's view and took control of the date from there. In fact, she was the only one to catch a fish that day as well.
Breaking the rules
The show is set up with rules in order to make the situation mostly fair. The girls are allowed time with Ben on dates and during the cocktail parties. They are supposed to stay in their hotel rooms for the most part and avoid breaking the rules. In Puerto Rico, Courtney completely went over the top and stalked Ben's hotel room. They ended up sneaking to the beach and swimming naked in the ocean. The other girls were unaware of the situation, and if they find out, there will be complete chaos.
At first, Blakeley was the first fan targeted girl. As time passes, she has fallen under the radar and is no longer seen as a threat. Courtney has made it hard for anyone to cheer for her, and it is becoming painfully obvious that Ben really likes her. This season has been one of the craziest as far as women go, and Courtney has made a name for herself in "The Bachelor" memory books.
