"CSI: Miami" finally fulfills Horatio Caine's (David Caruso) vision of apprehending the last prison escapee, Jack Toller (Callum Keith Rennie), one of the worst psychopathic killers to ever grace the screen. In Season 9's finale "May Day" a plane crash and twisted clues lead Horatio down a strange highway to the end of this season.

The transport plane carrying Toller crash lands and they discover Toller has a different plan than returning to prison. Evidence gathered, a new body found along the Old Post Road, and skilful work by Walter Simmons (Omar Miller) leads the team to a small airstrip just 30 minutes flight time beyond the crash scene. Here, we meet Marcel Largos (Haaz Sleiman), who swears that the airstrip is a place to work on small aircraft and that no G4 planes were scheduled to land. Caine meets Renee Locklear (Natasha Henstridge) who appears harmless to the team and is just working with Marcel at the airstrip. As with most of the "CSI" shows there are few innocents that meet up with Horatio and his team during an episode. Clearly fans need to keep their eyes on Locklear.

The plot thickens and fans are taken on a merry ride with Toller and his new victim 16 year old Kaylee Anderson (Cassi Thomson) whom Toller car jacks at a local hotel. Toller has met up with Marcel to exchange something, when Eric (Adam Rodriguez) discovers Locklear hiding in the bedroom of the hotel suite the plot takes a new twist.

Fans have no clue what Toller up too until Horatio and his "CSI" team begins to pull the clues together. When evidence shows Locklear is actually an Agent assigned to locate a box filled with three sets of $100.00 bill printing plates.

As season 9 comes to a close, fans see Toller directing young Kaylee in how to deliver the bill plates to Ashton. He instructs this young girl that she is to obtain a bag from Ashton in exchange for a case, nothing more. As Kaylee leaves the van she asks Toller, "how do I know you won't shoot me in the back?" Toller just smiles an evil smile. Once at the door Ashton drags the young girl inside. Meanwhile, Horatio is hot on the trail and knows from their discovery at Marcel's airstrip who the recipient of the money plates is.

Lights bright and sirens blaring the team and police pull up to Ashton's home. Toller quietly slips away in the stolen van. Ashton arrested, Eric helps the young Kaylee, and Locklear discovers one set of money plates missing from the case.

The tension is still building, Horatio has not caught his man Toller is still free to kill again and with the money plates has all the funds he needs to continue surviving off the grid. Good luck Horatio and happy hunting in Season 10 of "CSI '" Miami."
