    'Dancing' Champ J.R. Martinez Welcomes Daughter

    Former "All My Children" star and Season 13 "Dancing with the Stars" winner J.R. Martinez has a new prize to cherish - his newborn daughter.

    According to People, the 28-year-old Iraq war veteran and girlfriend Diana Gonzalez-Jones welcomed daughter Lauryn Anabelle Martinez on Wednesday evening in Los Angeles.

    The couple's bundle of joy weighed in at 7 lbs., 13 oz. and is 21 inches long.

    "She's already got a nickname - Belle," the proud dad told the mag. "She has a couple of cute little freckles on her cheeks, a full head of hair and the cutest little lips."

    Adding, "It's just amazing to see her, finally. She's beautiful."

    J.R. first met Diana when he joined the cast of "All My Children" in 2008, where she was working as the assistant to the soap's executive producer.

    "We were friends, and, you know, it was a workplace, so you don't want to cross the line. I was respectful of that, and for about two years we were great friends," J.R. told Access Hollywood Live's Billy Bush and Kit Hoover during a visit to the show in November 2011.

    "Finally, something happened, something clicked, and I just said, '[Do] you ever look at me differently than just a friend?'" he said at the time. "And she kind of paid attention to it, and here we are! It's great."
