"Dancing with the Stars" professional Anna Trebunskaya recently explained to the Philadelphia Inquirer why she has so much fun on the popular reality show. While many other professional dancers wouldn't agree, this ballroom champion has worked with quite a few celebrities during her eight seasons on "Dancing with the Stars." Part of her charm is the ability to have fun no matter who she works with.
Expect Nothing
According to Anna, with professionals you always have high expectations. This leaves little room for surprises. With celebrities who have little or no experience, you go into the competition with no real expectations. This means you are able to just have fun with the talent that does show itself throughout each week. It gets even better when a celebrity actually does have some natural talent to bring to the competition. Every time they do something amazing, it is truly an accomplishment that they're proud of. The professional is proud of them and the fun continues.
You're the Pilot
Anna Trebunskaya compared dancing with a novice to being a pilot trying not to let their co-pilot crash. With professionals, everyone learns their parts and goes on.
