'Dancing With the Stars': The Best Finale Dances of All Time

The Season 14 finale of "Dancing With The Stars" will air on May 21 and 22, and this year's contenders for the trophy are incredible! The season's best performances are usually saved for the last show, and in previous years, there have been some amazing finale dances. Here is a look at five of the best!

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough (Season 11)

It was almost impossible to fault the fabulous Jennifer Grey when she appeared on "Dancing With The Stars." The "Dirty Dancing" actress was flawless throughout, but she really stole the show when she and her partner, Derek Hough, performed the Viennese waltz in the final. It was special for her because it was the same routine they danced on their first show. While Grey was never a bad dancer, it was wonderful to see how much she'd improved from beginning to end. It was especially poignant because the song they danced to was "These Arms Of Mine," which appeared on the "Dirty Dancing" soundtrack. Jennifer really channeled Baby with her exceptional elegance and grace.

Nicole Scherzinger and Derek Hough (Season 10)

Nicole Scherzinger had a wealth of dancing experience from her time in the Pussycat Dolls, which may have helped her become the Season 10 winner. However, wiggling around provocatively in music videos, and the discipline of ballroom are very different! By the time they reached the final, Nicole had it mastered. When she and Derek danced the rumba, it was pure magic. Their routine had everything a rumba should have, and much more. The complex moves teamed with all the emotions of love made it one of the most memorable dances in the show's history.

J.R. Martinez and Karina Smirnoff (Season 13)

J.R. Martinez was not only a great dancer, he was far and away the most inspirational celebrity "Dancing With The Stars" has ever seen. The actor defied all the odds when he won the show in 2011 with Karina Smirnoff. They performed the cha-cha-cha in the final, and Martinez totally embraced the spirit of the dance. His moves were as sexy as Karina's, and while it wasn't completely perfect, it was certainly one of his best.

Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff (Season 3)

Way back in 2006, Mario Lopez and Karina Smirnoff strutted their stuff to a sassy samba, helping them to finish in second place. The "Saved By The Bell" actor didn't hold back with his moves. His hips shook as if he were a professional dancer, and he easily kept up with Karina. Their routine was hot with a capital H, and it was a real shame when they didn't get to take home the mirror ball trophy.

Brooke Burke and Derek Hough (Season 7)

Derek Hough is the king of "Dancing With The Stars" finals, and the freedom of freestyle allows him to really push himself and his partners to the limits. With Brooke Burke, he put together a "Grease" inspired jive/quickstep combo with some incredible flips and lifts included. Brooke pulled it off as if she had been dancing her whole life, and she was later crowned the Season 7 champion.
