"Dancing With The Stars" contestants may be all glamor and glitz on Monday and Tuesday nights, but you need to remember that there is life away from the show. Although they may try to lead a normal life, they still get more than their share of attention.

Ralph Macchio - aka The Karate Kid

When Ralph played "The Karate Kid," he had to display a lot of athletic ability, but he was 25 years younger then. How is "The Kid" handling practices for "DWTS"? He walks around saying, "I'm sore, I'm sore." His support team includes his family, who were the ones to actually push him into participating in the show. His wife told him he must do it. He has an 18-year-old daughter and a 15-year-old son who are totally behind their dad. Ralph says he and partner Karina will be ready, according to ETonline.com.

    Sugar Ray Leonard

According to his partner, Anna Trebunskaya, the former champ is working hard but he needs a drill sergeant to help him stay on track. Anna agrees Sugar Ray is an amazing boxer; now she wants to help make him an amazing dancer as well, according to thedeadBolt.com. Anna has also let it be known that they practice the cha-cha for four hours each day at Leonard's home. Hopefully Leonard is keeping his eyes on the prize and not just on his lovely partner.

    Petra Nemcova

Petra Nemcova is classified as a supermodel/activist. But Petra is more than that. She survived the Thailand tsunami and has been offering guidance and support for those who are dealing with the effects of the recent earthquake-tsunami in Japan. According to Yahoo's OMG article, Petra lost her boyfriend to the Thailand disaster and she herself was badly injured, so she is familiar with what it takes to survive and go on. Anyone who has the tenacity to survive a natural disaster can survive learning the cha-cha and tango in a week!

Brooke Burke - Show Host and Mom

Not only is she a former winner of the coveted mirror ball trophy and co-host of "Dancing With The Stars," she has written a book, "Naked Mom." No, it's not about dancing or winning a trophy. It is about Brooke herself and how she deals with motherhood while bringing up a blended family, according to what she told Robin Roberts recently on "Good Morning America."

    The judges:

We know that Carrie Ann Inaba is now engaged and looking forward to a summer wedding. According to an interview she gave to USA Today, she admits that she is legally blind. Perfect eyesight is 20/20, Carrie Ann's is 20/750.

Len Goodman is probably polishing up his quick remarks and worrying if Maks will be taking his shirt off this season.

As for Bruno Tonioli, all I can say is "be prepared." His dramatics are overwhelming at times, but he doesn't seem to scare the contestants as much as Len does.
