‘Dancing with the Stars’ Week 4: Who Rocked on Rock Week?

Big hair, studded leather and heavy black eyeliner-- even on the guys! Welcome to Rock Week on "Dancing with the Stars," where the star rocked until they dropped-- or went to the hospital!

That's right, Monday night's episode culminated with a trip to the ER for one of the contestants. But before that there was plenty of rockin' and rollin' and waltzing and paso dobling to everything from Jimi Hendrix to The Stones.

But there were plenty of missteps too, perhaps because of the difficult rock music soundtrack (have you ever tried to tango to "Bohemian Rhapsody?")

Check out the highlights from "DWTS" Rock Week:

Donald Driver shocked everyone -- especially Judge Len Goodman -- when he drove right to the top of the leaderboard with 27 point this week. A flustered Len gushed over Driver's paso doble with partner Peta Murgatroyd after the NFL player came out shirtless, tats blazing, and danced to the Jimi Hendrix song "Purple Haze."

"I never thought I'd get excited seeing a man with his shirt off to be honest. After the show, we're comparing tattoos," Len told Driver. "No one can accuse you of holding back. You frightened the life out of me, I'll tell you that!"

Jaleel White danced to a Rolling Stones song, but admitted he knew nothing of Mick Jagger, aside from pointing out that the rocker walks like George Jefferson. (Come on Jaleel, do your homework-- it was George who lifted that strut from Mick!) White's "I Can't get No Satisfaction" tango with Kym Johnson left the judges semi-satisfied. Score: 22 out of 30.

Grandma of Rock and Roll Gladys Knight (did you know she's been inducted to the Rock and Roll hall of Fame?) scored only 20 points out of 30 for her Bohemian-style tango, while Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower dazzled with a Viennese waltz that knocked the judges' glass slippers off. (Carrie Ann Inaba: "It was like watching the climax of a Disney movie.")

Poor Maria Menounos. She's having medical ailments again, this time a stress fracture on her right foot. But quitting the competition is not an option for her. (It's not?) She and partner Derek Hough pushed through with a 26-point tango to Alice Cooper's 1972 hit, "School's Out." There was also an audience pan to some of Menounos's impressive posse of Greek friends: John Stamos, Nia Vardalos and Rita Wilson.

Gavin DeGraw got compared to a turtle after his tango with Karina Smirnoff, and when Brooke Burke-Charvet asked him, "Did you do enough to break out of the bottom?" the singer replied, "Absolutely not." Score: 23 points

Meanwhile, some of the usual frontrunners found themselves in the middle of the pack this week. Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas' paso doble netted them 24 points, while Latin hottie William Levy received just 22 points for his Twisted sister jive with Cheryl Burke. (Quote of the night from Levy: "When Cheryl told me we were dancing Twisted Sister I was like, what are you calling my sister?")

And finally, Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy scored 22 points for their paso, before Melissa scored a trip to the emergency room. The former "Little House on the Prairie" star suffered from a mild concussion and whiplash following a hit on her head during her dance, according to The Wrap.

Tonight: It's KISS and the Rock Week results!

You can catch the "Dancing with the Stars" Season 14 results episode at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
