File Dina Manzo under "local girl makes good." The reality TV star, who came to fame on Bravo's "Real Housewives of New Jersey," made an appearance on last night's episode. Dina left the show after a particularly bitter season that included a vicious feud with her nemesis Danielle Staub.
Last night, Dina returned for some girlfriend kissy-face time with BFF Teresa Giudice during the Fabellini wine launch. Dina seems to be the only castmate ever in the history of the series to not have issues with Tre. Without Staub as a foil, Teresa has become the show's villainess.
As usual, Ms. Manzo appeared to be lovely and gracious with a new twist. Dina appears to side with Teresa in her recent battle with the show's matriarch and Dina's big sis, Caroline Manzo. Ouch! Et tu, Dina?
It's sad to think of the possibility of Dina and Caroline no longer speaking. Who can ever forget Caroline's "we are thick as thieves" speech in defense of Dina back in the Danielle days? Caroline was ready to go to blows for her little sis before Teresa's jumped in and flipped the table. Ah, the good old days.
Dina took to twitter on September 9 to explain her appearance on the show. She feels that she was mis-edited. She remarks, "I don't know...I'm so confused...Teresa told me no one was there to support her." She is discussing Teresa's feud with her brother and sister-in-law.
So what has Dina been up to since her stint on "Housewives"? The beauty continues to position herself as a Martha Stewart in-the-making. She recently appeared on Andy Cohen's "Watch What Happens Live" to share her myriad of ventures.
Dina is the star of HGTV's "Dina's Party." The show showcases Mazo's skills as an event planner and interior designer. It's a far cry from the table-tossing drama-filled world of "RHONJ." Dina also has her own party products and a spiritual jewelry collection. Current episodes show her at a Master of Ceremonies at a big pink New Jersey wedding.
Well played, madame. Dina may have slipped and fallen on last night's red carpet, but she's still our most elegant "housewife"!
