Elisabeth Moss Talks Gearing Up For Mad Men's Final Two Seasons

AMC has announced that "Mad Men" will return this spring, and Elisabeth Moss said the cast is already thinking about the show's end, which is expected to occur after seven seasons.

"We're half way through the [sixth] season. It's crazy... and were gearing up for the end, really. We've got 20 episodes left to film of 'Mad Men' in its entirety," she told Access Hollywood's Scott Mantz at the Sundance Film Festival, where she was promoting her new Sundance Channel mini-series (set in New Zealand) - "Top of the Lake."

Elisabeth, who plays Peggy Olsen in "Mad Men," said it's already hard to think about the end of the show.

"It's very emotional, obviously. It's something that you can't almost - it doesn't feel real that we're not going be doing it anymore, but at the same time, it's a little too soon to start talking about that," she laughed. "There's a lot of work to be done. We're not quite there yet, but this has been one of the greatest experiences of my life, that show. So it's gonna be a real end of a journey."

Beginning April 14, the week after the two-hour season premiere, "Mad Men" will return to its regular 10 PM time slot.

"Top of the Lake," also starring Holly Hunter, and featuring "Beauty and The Beast's" Jay Ryan, premieres on Sundance Channel in March 2013.
