Southland‘s Dorian Missick has joined the upcoming season of Syfy’s Haven, TVLine has learned exclusively.
The actor will recur on the supernatural series as Tommy Bowen, a no-nonsense Boston detective whose investigation of a serial killer brings him to the strange town.
Kate Kelton (Harold and Kumar) has also been added to the Season 3 lineup, playing a “spirited” waitress at The Gun & Rose Diner and an influential member of an organization for troubled people.

Missick’s most recent TV credits include the aforementioned TNT cop drama — where he played partner to Regina King’s Det. Lydia Adams — and NBC’s short-lived superhero series, The Cape.
Haven‘s 13-episode third season is slated to bow later this year.
