'Falling Skies' Sees Falling Ratings for Season 2 Premiere

Ratings: "Falling Skies" Debut Is the Year's Biggest Cable Launch

TNT's Falling Skies Launches Second Season with 4.5 Million Viewers

Sunday's two-hour season premiere amassed 4.5 million total viewers -- which isn't anything to sneeze at, but it's a far cry from the 5.9 million total viewers that the series opener pulled in.

In the 18-49 demographic most important to advertisers, "Falling Skies" also fell short of its series premiere, bringing in 1.9 million viewers in the demo, compared to the series premiere's 2.6 million.

The series, which stars "ER" alum Noah Wyle, deals with the aftermath of an alien invasion.
